Screaming Into Southern Soil: Black Herbalism class is waiting. I'm excited about this class because it is the first installment over the next YEAR that will be speaking about Southern, Black herbalism + sharing recipes and guides from my book debuting in 2024.
​
It took some meditating and prayer to create this class. This is an extension of my book which is already personal. When we share these types of classes and spaces that include ancestral and traditional knowledge, it can sometimes feel like we are giving away our family's secrets. One of the most personal recipes and skill sharing includes Collard Green Tea for Grief that I made for my Aunt. To bring a warm hug, love, and healing after a miscarriage. The first time I ever "doula-ed" I supported her through that transition and that is how my work started to bloom. I humbly invite a small group of you to join this month, August 29th at 5pm Eastern as we remember and bring back our traditions.
